Changes To My Study Programme

In my second year of Odontology, I have seven subjects, including English and one CFG.  If I had the possibility to transform my study curriculum, the first modification I would make would be to eliminate some required courses, such as the OBE, promotion, or anthropology, as they're all very time-consuming. Additionally, these subjects are rather humanistic.                                                             I would put in more hours of simulation in my curriculum because this subject is more related to my career.   Another modification I would make is to have the option to select four CFG rather than just the two choices. I'd include extra science hours, such as physiology or biochemistry because these are the pillars of our profession. I would want to have more practice with simulations, and in science, I would put more practical work online but take the theoretical out. Another thing I would do is make absolutely sure that most of the classes are recorded so that I

Time Travel to the Past

If I had a time machine, I would travel to the past because I have always been fascinated by history and this would be my chance to learn more about it. If I had a time machine, I would use it to travel to a period in history that caught my attention, such as ancient times. It is a very long period because it goes from the invention of writing to the 5th century. It would be difficult to select a specific age, but I would make a decision and go to ancient Rome. I would like to see how the Romans lived, the culture that existed at that time, and certainly, I would like to see a duel at the Roman Colosseum, to see if it was as horrible as the movies show it. I'd also like to meet historical figures such as Julius Caesar and Marcus Aurelius. I'd like to go with my cousin because he enjoys history, particularly that of the Roman Empire, and he'd be excellent company. To be honest, I don't want to stay for that period. I just wanted to see what it was like because there were

My Future Job

Nowadays, I am studying at university in preparation for a profession in odontology, which I like. I'm thinking maybe working as a dentist in a hospital or private clinic, and I'd like to have a dental specialty. I'm not sure what that specialty would be, but I have a few ideas, and I'd like to continue my studies to discover them.     My dream is to have a job where I can control my own pay and hours, and where I can earn enough money to buy a lot of things and travel to many places. Teaching is something else I'd like to try at some time in the future. Because I taught children three years ago, I've discovered that I enjoy teaching.    However, I'd like to create a business in the building industry or whatever business (food, tourism, etc.), and in addition to doing it, I'll need to do some studies on the topic. This idea attracts me because I've always been good with numbers and I have started a small business before. In conclusion, I'd

Wild Animals and Pets

Imagen
I've always liked animals. When I  was a child I had a dog named Canela, who lived with my family and me, but we had to give her to an aunt because our house was too small. We later moved to a different house, but Canela stayed with our aunt. We could have a new dog because our new house was spacious.   Mateo is the name of this dog, and he is eleven years old. He was energetic and sweet when he was a puppy, but since he is old he has lost his energy, he still likes going for walks and eating anything.  Animals should only be used for scientific study in specific cases, like medicines, vaccines, or anything else relevant to health, in my opinion. Additionally, I think that people should not buy fur coats because animals have the right to life and people should not kill animals to satisfy their exotic tastes. I'd like to be my dog if I could be any animal, because he only sleeps, eats, walks, and does nothing else. He lives a relaxed life, and this is the most important factor

My Childhood...

When I think about my childhood, my first memories are the strolls to the park with my grandpa. Those strolls were special because those are my grandfather's only memories. Another memory I have is when I played soccer with him. This was strange because my grandpa had never played football, but he did it to entertain me.  However, my best childhood memories are playing anything, from my toys to my Wii console, but without a doubt, my favorite activity when I was a kid was playing soccer. I always played soccer, in school, at birthday parties, when I visited my cousins, in summary, every time.   Also, I remember that I learned to swim when I was seven or eight years old. When I went to the pool with my classmates, we went to the pool every year. For this reason, I learned to swim.  Another memory is when I visited my neighbor (my best friend). This was fun because we ate tasty food like pizza, sushi or hot dogs, and we watched TV, films or we went to the cinema and, of course, we

The best holidays I've had

One day I am sleeping and woke up, I was confused, but when I opened my eyes, I knew I was in the south of Chile. In my opinion, the most attractive place in Chile.  When I was 15 years old (2016), I traveled with my parents and my little sister to the south of Chile, specifically to Valdivia, Frutillar, and Chiloé. We were there for ten days. We traveled twelve hours by car from my city. It was a very long travel, but It was very interesting, especially the incredible view, amazing views like volcanoes, rivers, mountains, etc.  We visited Lakes, towns like Osorno, Corral and other places. We tried delicious food like Curanto, Milcao, and smoked meat. In my opinion, The Lago Llanquihue is phenomenal for swim or kayaking, other places like Chiloé are fantastical for taking photos. It is important to note that if you visit the south of Chile, you will have that wake up early cause, observe the dawn over the lake is very attractive. It was an unforgettable trip, although the route was ver

A country I would like to visit...

"We don't have anything to lose and a world to see". When I was a kid, I wanted to discover the world, but I didn't have money. Now I want to travel, but I'm studying and I doN´t have money, I wish someday this reality changes. I have always wanted to go to France, why? Because, in my opinion, is the most attractive country in Europe, for its places, people, culture, etc. Paris is known for the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Palace of Versailles, but there are many places to visit. As I said, France has many other places to explore, like Marsella, Toulouse, Lyon, etc. However, the most beautiful in France are its beaches. Where? On all its coast, because all of France has beautiful beaches, for example, Paloma beach or Pointe de Saint-Hernot. I would like to walk around the coast and look at the sunset. I would like to study or work there because France has an interesting culture and I would love to learn French and to walk around a city like Paris.
