Time Travel to the Past

If I had a time machine, I would travel to the past because I have always been fascinated by history and this would be my chance to learn more about it.

If I had a time machine, I would use it to travel to a period in history that caught my attention, such as ancient times. It is a very long period because it goes from the invention of writing to the 5th century.

It would be difficult to select a specific age, but I would make a decision and go to ancient Rome.

I would like to see how the Romans lived, the culture that existed at that time, and certainly, I would like to see a duel at the Roman Colosseum, to see if it was as horrible as the movies show it. I'd also like to meet historical figures such as Julius Caesar and Marcus Aurelius.

I'd like to go with my cousin because he enjoys history, particularly that of the Roman Empire, and he'd be excellent company.

To be honest, I don't want to stay for that period. I just wanted to see what it was like because there were several things I didn't like in those days, like slavery, so staying there would be a bit shocking.
